CIVITAS ECCENTRIC measures on show to Munich residents

CIVITAS ECCENTRIC measures in the Living Lab project area of Domagkpark are being shown to participants of a city walking tour.

The City of Munich invited citizens for a walking tour in the newly developed residential area “Domagkpark”, which is the location for Munich’s living lab in the ECCENTRIC project.

Experts in the fields of urban planning, architecture, housing and mobility gave insights into the history of the former military area and its ongoing conversion into a high-quality residential neighbourhood.

A part of the walking tour looked at the mobility measures being implemented as part of CIVITAS ECCENTRIC, including mobility stations, mobility management, and a concierge service for sustainable last mile deliveries.

Participants were excited and curious to see the progress that has been made by the project. The tour is part of a series of walking tours on urban planning across Munich coordinated by the Department of Urban Planning and Building Regulations.
