The implementation of the measure includes an in-depth study of the current state of traffic information signs (covering horizontal and vertical signage of roads, bicycle and pedestrian paths, public and water transport routes, etc.) and the creation of visual and technical design guidelines (brand book).
This will include recommendations for the development of traditional signage and the introduction of virtual tools (web portals, mobile apps, etc.).
Additional activities will include an open competition for the development of web-based tools and solutions (possibly based on open data) for the better dissemination of traffic-related information. The best ideas will then be tested in a 'real environment'.
