Wednesdays in the Tram: Possible models of congestion charging

CIVITAS ELAN INFO POINT, SAVSKA ROAD 18, Belgium

OtherCIVITAS Initiative

The city of Zagreb, through the CIVITAS ELAN project, has two priority goals: the reduction of traffic congestion and the protection of the environment. Congestion charging should be consistent with the amount of traffic. The city of Zagreb has the possibility to develop its own system of congestion charging that could set an example for other cities as well. The presentation was held by Marko Slavulj from the Zagreb Faculty of Transport, and took place at the CIVITAS ELAN Info point on Wednesday 10 November 2010 at 14:30. It was a continuation of the presentation and discussion about "Limiting the impact of traffic on the city" that was held in March 2010. The discussion moderator was Višnja Jeli? Mück from ODRAZ - Sustainable Community Development.
