This diverse group of projects aims to enhance road safety for users of active and shared mobility, drivers and vulnerable road users—including pedestrians, cyclists and people with reduced mobility—by leveraging innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence, transport modeling and big data analysis. This data-driven approach is complemented by co-creative elements and engagement with local stakeholders and policymakers.
By uniting efforts across these projects, the Cluster is driving the development of a safe, inclusive and sustainable mobility system that is resilient, trustworthy and user-friendly. These objectives align with the ambitious goals of the CIVITAS Initiative to make sustainable and smart mobility a reality for all.
The CIVITAS Community is invited to join the webinar to explore the groundbreaking innovations emerging from the Cluster’s projects and their impact on urban road safety for all road users.
What can you expect?
The aim of this hour-long webinar is to give the audience an initial glimpse into the innovative solutions addressed by the cluster’s projects through short spotlight presentations. It will be followed by an expert discussion on current urban road safety challenges. The webinar will also provide opportunities for the audience to join the conversation.
