OtherCIVITAS Initiative

The focus of the conference is on the roadmaps for the future of transport in Europe, organised by the TRANSFORuM project, it will take place on 8th December 2014 in Brussels.

TRANSFORuM is an FP7 project with the aim to develop “stakeholder-driven” roadmaps towards the implementation of four goals of the European Commission’s White Paper on Transport. Among them is the White Paper’s goal 1: “Half the use of ‘conventionally fuelled’ cars in urban transport by 2030; phase them out in cities by 2050; achieve essentially CO2-free city logistics in major urban centres by 2030.”

All roadmaps will be released and discussed with the public during the TRANSFORuM conference.

The event is co-organised by the European Economic and Social Committee.
