Smart City Expo & Tomorrow Mobility Congress

Since 2011, Smart City leaders have come together in Barcelona (Spain) to forge connections that advance urban innovation. CIVITAS will be on-the-ground at this year’s Smart City Expo World Congress, which will be held as a hybrid (online and in-person) event on 15-17 November 2022. CIVITAS will furthermore be active at the Tomorrow Mobility World Congress, which will be held parallel to the Expo as its “mobility track”.

Learn from CIVITAS experts at two Agora sessions, including a CIVITAS-led session on 17 November at 12:10 at the Smart City Expo’s Mobility Agora. The session will explore Boosting Innovation and New Technologies for Urban Mobility, drawing on a recently-concluded review and evaluation of CIVITAS achievements to share experiences and concrete tools developed and tested as part of CIVITAS projects. The solutions that will be presented use innovation and technology to support the deployment of electric vehicles and urban vehicle access regulations.

Plus, the CIVITAS Initiative will be among the leading examples showcased at the European Commission stand at the Smart City Expo’s exhibition area, and will join a ‘booth session’ on EU initiatives for cities on the 15 November, 14:00–15:00.
