Second CIVINET Greece-Cyprus Forum

The second CIVINET Forum, which is organised by CIVINET Greece-Cyprus, is a three-day event (28-30 May) that will bring together the sustainable mobility know-how and experience of cities and islands across Europe. With a theme inspired by the New European Bauhaus – "moving more sustainably, making our lives better together" – the forum promises to be a dynamic gathering of over 500 professionals, including politicians, mobility practitioners, researchers, students, industry representatives, start-uppers, civil society members, creative artists, and citizens.
What to expect
● Presentations and discussions by sustainable mobility experts
● Information sessions on EU funding tools related to innovation
● Showcasing of successful examples from pioneering cities in Greece and Europe
● Exhibition of innovative products and services from the private sector
● Insights from research and projects on Greek and other European islands.
● A dedicated symposium on sustainability in the cultural sector
Two additional workshops will be offered on the first day (28 May), which no one should miss:
● Safe Ways to School by Dutch Cycling Embassy
● Dive into the Artificial Intelligence of Urban Planning by UrbanistAI
On the second day of the forum, there will be a presentation of numerous CIVITAS and other EU mobility-related projects, such as MUSE, SPINE, UPPER, ELABORATOR, URBANE, SINFONICA, SHOW, SCALE, ECHARGE4DRIVERS, NEXTETRUCK, Cargo Bikes and Drones, Rock the Block, Challenge My City and others. Key participating EU organisations and initiatives are DG MOVE, CIVITAS, CIVITAS Educational Network, European Mobility Week, EIT Urban Mobility, EIT Digital, ECF, ALICE, ERTICO, ISOCARP, ICLEI, POLIS, EUROCITIES, Dutch Cycling Embassy, NTUA/ICCS, CERTH/HIT, Demokritos, RESEL TUC and others.
