PUBLIC TRANSPORT STUDY TOUR

This CIVITAS MODERN Study Tour was hosted by the city of Craiova on the 7th and 8th of May 2012. The event focused on the city’s public transport infrastructure, highlighting innovative energy-saving and mobility management measures. 

This study tour allowed participants to learn about how Craiova overcame the challenges it was facing regarding its outdated high-consumption tram fleet through the in-house development of technological solutions. Moreover, the tour highlighted the means through which the city’s increased public transport capacity is being managed and monitored.
