MOVE21 and SCALE-UP e-course_mobility services

The integration of mobility services is crucial for promoting sustainability in urban nodes. To support this effort, the MOVE21 and SCALE-UP projects are joining forces to offer a weekly e-course, running from 26 September to 31 October, that is designed to introduce urban transport planners to the basics of this integration.

The course provides a first look into the integration of different mobility services to promote a more sustainable transport system in urban, functional urban or regional areas. It further links to various resources for those seeking more detailed information on the topics covered. 

Participants will gain an insights related to a number of topics:

  • Developments in seamless and integrated mobility and logistics systems at the urban, functional urban area and regional levels;
  • Innovative measures that integrate different types of mobility services;
  • The role of mobility hubs in facilitating the integration of mobility services;
  • New ways of combining passenger and logistics mobility services;
  • Seasonal infrastructure design and wayfinding to support seamless mobility;
  • Options for integrating and managing data to improve the cohesion of the mobility system; and
  • Governance arrangements that support the integration of mobility services. 

This e-course aims to provide participants with the basic knowledge needed to improve the sustainability of transport systems through integrated mobility services.
