Innovation capacity: an e-course by the MOVE21 project

The MOVE21 project is hosting an e-course on the topic of innovation capacity, from 13 January to17 March 2025.

This learning opportunity is for those interested in strengthening their city's innovation capacity, in order to address complex mobility challenges and drive meaningful change. Developed by TNO, the e-course introduces a practical framework focusing on key elements: leadership, organisation, knowledge management, networks and learning. 

The course combines theoretical insights with practical strategies that will help participants learn to:

  • Assess their organisation's innovation strengths and challenges.
  • Understand common barriers and how to overcome them.
  • Create a tailored action plan to improve their organisation's ability to innovate.

The learning blocks are as follows:

Block 1: Early January, 2025: Read materials and watch video
Block 2: 13-22 January 2025: Homework: self-assessment
Block 3 : 27 January 2025, 14:00 -16:00: Online live session 1
Block 4: 27 January-12 February 2025: Homework: first action plan development
Block 5: 20-21 February 2025: Online 1-on-1 check-ins
Block 6: 21 February-14 March 2025: Homework: implementation start
Block 7: 17 March 2025, 14:00-16:00: Online live session 2
