As cities across Europe strive to make mobility more integrated, accessible and sustainable, Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) is gaining recognition as a key factor in this transition.
On 29 July 2025 from 14:00 - 15:00, a webinar organised by SPINE, GEMINI, and SUM will explore how three CIVITAS cities — Rouen, Turin, and Larnaka — are piloting MaaS solutions to meet local mobility needs.Â
The webinar will aim is to highlight innovative approaches to integrating public and shared mobility services, fostering interoperability, and improving accessibility across diverse urban and regional contexts.Â
The session will highlight:
- Rouen’s launch of a unified mobility assistant, helping residents plan and book multimodal trips through a single digital interface.
- Turin’s work on a regional MaaS business model, bridging mobility services between urban and rural areas in the Piedmont region.
- Larnaka’s Living Lab approach, which is aligning shared mobility with public transport, co-designing mobility hubs, and piloting ticketing upgrades.
Attendees will gain insight into local implementation strategies, innovative tools, and lessons learned on the ground. The event offers an opportunity to explore real-world MaaS applications that are shaping the future of sustainable urban transport.
The event is aimed mostly to the general public and stakeholders' interest in sustainable urban mobility and MaaS deployment, such as mobility professionals, local and regional authorities, MaaS and transport service providers.Â

This webinar is part of the broader efforts by SPINE, GEMINI, and SUM to support cities in developing smart, user-centric mobility systems, in line with the EU’s goals for digital and green transitions in transport. All three projects are affiliated with and supporting the CIVITAS Initiative.
