Why do people not want to cycle? There is no doubt that building cycle lanes and providing bike parking encourages people to cycle, however for some groups this is not enough. For these groups only special attention and specific interventions will persuade them to go by bike.
This study tour looked at how Brighton & Hove has reached out to these groups and used innovative techniques (both hard and soft) to encourage cycling.
