Why would cities like to take the lead in implementing clean vehicles and fuels? Four High-Level decision-makers that have carefully considered the pros and cons of bio-fuels in a round-table discussion. They discuused what made them finally decide for biofuels, how they convinced the sceptics and how they implemented their projects. This roundtable was co-organised by CIVITAS CATALIST and was a side-event to the World Bioenergy Clean Vehicles & Fuels 2009, focused on the practical implementation of bioenergy and sustainable transport systems. More than 140 speakers from all over the world, including i.a. HM King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, William Ngeleja, Energy Minister in Tanzania, Jennifer Granholm, Governor of Michigan and USA Waldemar Pawlak, Deputy Prime Minister of Poland.
