CIVITAS RENAISSANCE - BATH DEMONSTRATION PROJECTS

Bath & North East Somerset Council held a half day event, in association with the CIVINET UK & Ireland Network on 13th March at Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution on Queen Square in Bath. The event took the form of a series of presentations on selected measures followed by a site visit to view Bath’s CIVITAS demonstration projects.

Bath Renaissance measures to be covered at the event included:

·         Trial of new hybrid bus technology

·         The use of Automatic Number Plate Recognition Cameras to capture HGV movements

·         Urban Freight Consolidation

·         Introduction of hybrid cars into the Bath City Car Club
