CIVITAS Cities Meet & Greet

The CIVITAS Initiative invites city representatives and urban mobility practitioners to join the next edition of the CIVITAS Cities Meet & Greet — an informal yet focused exchange designed to foster peer learning, open discussion, and stronger connections across the CIVITAS community.

This edition will focus on transport poverty.

Transport poverty is defined as the inability to access affordable, reliable, and inclusive mobility options, and is an increasingly urgent challenge affecting communities across Europe.

Cities are being called upon to better understand who is most affected, how transport poverty can be identified and measured, and which mobility policies can help address it fairly and effectively.

This session will explore how cities within the CIVITAS network are responding to these challenges, drawing on practical experiences, emerging approaches, and insights from the CIVITAS policy group working on the topic.

Participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss common barriers, and share questions in an open peer-learning environment.

Register today and submit your questions in advance to help shape the discussion.
