Participants will once again be able to take part in interactive workshops and sessions on the most urgent issues in mobility, enjoy interesting site visits, and mingle with Europe's most creative mobility minds. Many new exciting elements will also make their debut in the programme. Attendance is free of charge.

The host for 2018

Umeå, located in eastern Sweden, is one of the country's leading examples of sustainable urban development.

Its ultra-fast charging electric bus initiative has been internationally recognised, receiving the CIVITAS Award for Technical Innovation in 2015, whilst several other sustainable mobility measures are being developed as part of Umeå's efforts to become a smart city.

Umeå's dedication to cleaner, better transport and active involvement in the CIVITAS Political Advisory Committee makes it an ideal choice to host this year's Forum.
