Study Tour Urban ITS, Helmond (The Netherlands)

Invitation to visit the European Silicon Valley of Urban ITS and traffic management

You are warmly invited to join the CIVITAS study tour on Urban ITS in Helmond on May 30th and 31st (noon to noon). The study tour offers to experience innovations happening in the ‘silicon valley’ of Europe!  For example the ‘road of the future’, the Van Gogh-Roosegaarde cycle path, the innovative traffic control centre and the ‘crossing of the future’. Local innovators and policy makers will share their experience and practices. This tour is of particular relevance for professionals working in urban ITS and traffic management domain.

This study tour is organized by the CIVITAS Thematic Group on Transport Telematics, CIVINET Netherlands and Flanders & CIVITAS WIKI.

As a participant you have to book your own hotel. We recommend the following hotel:

Registration: via the "register button".

The study tour is free of charge and open to all professionals working in the urban ITS and traffic management domain. For a limited number of participants CIVITAS offers opportunities for reimbursement of travel and accommodation expenses.
