Second Energy EXPO Funchal 2010
The second Energy Expo Funchal 2010 took place in Funchal city from 2 - 5 June. CIVITAS MIMOSA played a significant role in the event, with a poster exhibition showcasing the project´s importance; an orienteering competition and a conference about mobility from an energy and environmental perspective.
The Trade Fair, which included a number of conferences and workshops, acted as both an information platform and a technological showcase for renewable energy related equipment. Displays included electric and hybrid cars, electric bicycles, segways eco-friendly ovens, solar-powered backpacks, solar bulbs and more. The conferences focused on the environment, energy efficiency, climate, electric vehicles, solar energy, photovoltaic systems, transportation, energy conservation and mobility. Overall, the event went a long way in showcasing the most up to date renewable energy technology available, as well as highlighting CIVITAS MIMOSA’s role in creating sustainable mobility for the city of Funchal.
