Cities interested in addressing their mobility challenges through public involvement, or 'co-creation', are invited to apply to participate in the SUNRISE Neighbourhood Mobility Fix!

The SUNRISE project, now in it's final stages, is keen to share the knowledge it has acquired over the past four years with as many neighbourhoods as possible.

Experts from the six SUNRISE neighbourhoods, as well as the seven project partners, will work together with cities to co-create a tailored neighbourhood playbook. This Co-Creation Scenario is a slide deck that will draw together basic facts about the neighbourhood, selected methodologies for public involvement, mobility measures and ideas to fund and implementation these measures.

The process will consist of 3 meetings. All meetings will be held online, no travel is required. Active involvement, equivalent to approximately 3 person days, is required by cities in order to ensure that all participants are prepared for the meetings.

Interested? Inform Ivo Cré (icre@polisnetwork.eu) by 19 April.

During application, please also indicate your city's mobility measures field of interest. SUNRISE has worked on 5 different types of mobility measures: road space for mobility (incl. innovative parking management), accessibility for all, urban logistics, shared mobility and active travel.

SUNRISE project partners include: urbanista, Rupprecht Consult, POLIS, TU Wien, Edinburgh Napier University – Transport Research Institute, Zaragoza Logistics Center and Koucky & Partners.

The six SUNRISE neighbourhoods are: Southend-on-Sea, Neo-Rysio Thermi (Thessaloniki), Hulsberg (Bremen), Baka (Jerusalem), Zugló-Törökőr (Budapest) and Lindängen (Malmo).
