Summary

Public transport is often described as the backbone of city mobility systems. In this Mobility Talk, we will take a closer look at the actions cities and public transport authorities (PTAs) are taking to move more people with public transport and shared mobility.

This episode will explore tangible use cases and stimulate a discussion around city strategies to encourage more sustainable modes of transport. This entails aspects such as how cities and PTAs collect and analyse mobility data, improve public transport user journeys, or ensure that public transport is both affordable and attractive with solutions like Demand-Responsive Transport, (partially) free public transport, integration with new mobility services, etc.
