Burgos , CARAVEL

Having concluded the previous postcard campaign with the competition for ideas on sustainable mobility, CiViTAS CARAVEL Burgos has started the new postcard campaign, this time with positive messages and advices on sustainable transport. It offers a fresh new format and a new way of transmitting its messages to the public and is meeting with as much success as the previous campaigns.

Following the previous campaign's ideas competition, including the presentation of the prizes, the third postcard campaign has now been launched. This time, the ideas to be shared on sustainable urban transport concern ways of: i) thanking the public for supporting the project, since without the public the project would never have been a success;ii) encouraging the use of the bicycle as an alternative form of transport; iii) raising public awareness of the need to park the car without causing a nuisance or blocking access; iv) making use of the private vehicles in a more rational way;v) encouraging the public to enjoy a car-free city centre;vi) encouraging the use of the Bicibur bike-loan system;vii) encouraging the use of public transport; and finallyviii) although the design and logot have yet to be defined, the promotion of car pooling for the first months of 2008, once the project will start.
