Do you want to go home, and don’t you know how to do it? Don’t worry a new application, developed as part of the CIVITAS ARCHIMEDES project, leads you all the way from where you are and directly to your home by public transport.

As part of the CIVITAS ARCHIMEDES project, a new mobile phone application has been developed for the public transport authority in Northern Jutland (NT). The app now makes it possible for people in the Aalborg area to get directions home by using the GPS-technology of the mobile phone. The application uses your current position and directs you to your home address, which you have defined in the application. The application uses the national travel planner “Rejseplanen” to guide you by public transport from your position to your home address. If you're lost somewhere, the only thing you need is your mobile phone and this application. When you have downloaded the application from here you are only a few clicks away from getting home.During March 2011 the City of Aalborg and NT is promoting the application through electronic adverts, monitors in the screen and some funny movies on youtube.
