Register now for the CIVITAS Forum 2019

Registration for this year's CIVITAS Forum Conference is now open! This edition of Europe's leading sustainable mobility event is taking place from 2-4 October in Graz, Austria.

This year marks a homecoming for CIVITAS - the very first Forum took place in Austria's second city in 2003. Yet mobility never stands still. The situation in Graz is very different compared to 16 years ago, like in many cities around Europe.

See mobility go 'back to the future'

How and why have things changed since then? What has the role of CIVITAS been in this? What must be done to make sure that the shift towards sustainable, safe and connected mobility continues?

To examine these vital questions, the CIVITAS Forum 2019 is going 'back to the future' to look at the interplay between new technology and classic mobility solutions in the present day. With cities turning to people-centric planning and reclaiming public space, the importance of two legs and wheels is being rediscovered.

Exchanging and enriching knowledge

Hundreds of Europe's most creative mobility minds - including city representatives, practitioners, policymakers, and academics - will explore this and other burning topics in the field of sustainable mobility. Diverse interactive workshops and sessions will offer the ideal environments to do so.

Alongside this, the Forum will demonstrate and get participants hands-on with the pioneering solutions driving Europe's shift towards cleaner, better transport. A series of site visits will showcase those in host city Graz.
