CIVINET workshop: New perspectives in city logistics – Recent ideas for delivering goods in cities

STADT GRAZ, RATHAUS GEMEINDERATSSITZUNGSSAAL, HAUPTPLATZ 1, 8010 GRAZ, Austria

Workshop

Delivering goods in cities is a big challenge: new motive powers, increasing amount of shipments (based on e-commerce) and the competitiveness of city centres are good reasons for cities to think about new solutions for delivering goods. Furthermore, there are existing EU-guidelines for a better, sustainable and environmental friendly transport of goods within cities.

Drawing on national and international examples, this workshop will present new solutions and provide an opportunity for city authorities and companies to network.

The workshop is targeted at representatives of cities or municipalities and experts in the logistic branch in Austria and neighbouring countries.

This workshop is organised by The Austrian Association of Cities and Towns, the City of Graz, and the companies AMOR and BIM.

The workshop will be held in German.
