The new phone app in Limassol promoting sustainable mobility
As part its work in the CIVITAS DESTINATIONS project, the Limassol Tourism Company has created the “Limassol Mobility” mobile phone app.
It designed to help users to plan their journey through the Cypriot city using sustainable modes of transport modes. In turn, this will minimise transport-related environmental impact and encourage the growth of sustainable mobility.
The app contains comprehensive information about cycling routes, electric vehicle charging stations, available parking spaces, and public bus services, including details on routes, stops and maps.
It also includes an integrated trip planner: its location search functionality assists users to seek out the most effic
ient routes for reaching their destinations.The app is aimed at both residents and visitors, and includes all functionalities needed to plan a sustainable journey.
The app is available free of charge in Google Play and iOS App Store under the name “Limassol Mobility”.
