Join the CIVITAS Initiative at the Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress
The CIVITAS initiative is joining the Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress (TMWC) this year, an international conference that explores the mobility challenges and solutions faced by cities and towns worldwide. Held in beautiful Barcelona, the event will welcome leaders from all levels of government, as well as mobility and transport experts and executives, with the goal of finding more sustainable, effective and efficient ways to move around our cities and towns.
The CIVITAS Initiative will participate in the TMWC, with the intention of sharing wisdom from the CIVITAS Community of expertise, to expand our network of cities, as well as to keep up with the latest challenges and innovations in the world of sustainable mobility. Attendees have the possibility to attend four sessions/events hosted by the CIVITAS Initiative or the CIVITAS projects - all of which take place on the first day of the conference, 5 November 2024.
The CIVITAS Agora, titled,'Made in Europe: Showcasing Five Market-Ready CIVITAS Mobility Solutions', will spotlight market-ready solutions from CIVITAS projects ULaaDS and RECIPROCITY, with the aim of providing solutions and ideas that focus on the added value for cities.
Oftentimes, conference sessions focus on the polished success stories told by cities, rather than exploring what went wrong and the lessons learned in the process. In the session, Fail Forward – Lessons from Urban Mobility Innovations, attendees can expect to hear about recent failures faced by cities, and how they are now propelling progress forward. This session is to be hosted by the CIVITAS MOVE21 project.
New Mobility Services are a booming business and many cities are testing out new technologies in urban living labs. But which services really work and which don't? What best practices are there? And how can we co-create effective solutions with stakeholders? In the Seamless Urban Mobility Services Event, the CIVITAS SUM project, in collaboration with CIVITAS' New Mobility Services Cluster, will search for answers to these questions.
Finally, at the CIVITAS Connects Cities event, city representatives will have the chance to meet on an informal level and share the experiences and insights that have defined their sustainable mobility transformation processes. Notify your expected attendance by registering here!
