Annual report of the ten CIVINETs in 2015 and 2016 published

CIVITAS Initiative

The 2015-2016 Annual Report for the ten CIVINETs, which covers all the activities of the ten current CIVITAS National Networks over the last year and a half, is now available for download below. It is divided into a general summary and sections for each individual CIVINET.

The summary of the report presents an overview of the main outcomes of the CIVINETs' activities in 2015 and 2016. Readers can then download a report from a particular CIVINET to learn more about what that CIVINET has been focussing on over the past year. CIVINETs have been involved in a variety of topics and events such as national fora, workshops, study tours, webinars, and more, and have also been working on making links with other national and regional organisations and networks.

Membership of the ten networks continues to grow, reaching over 300 cities and other organisations in over 20 countries. This has been the case particularly for the CIVINET for Slovenia and Croatia, which has expanded to cover other countries in south east Europe. Furthermore, over the summer a new CIVINET for Romanian-speaking cities was founded. All this clearly demonstrates that the CIVINETs are strengthening their role in their countries and regions and becoming important contact points for sustainable urban mobility exchanges and learning.

If you are not yet a CIVINET member or want to know more, visit the CIVINET pages to find the CIVINET covering your country or local language. You can contact a network's National Network Manager or Secretariat for more information.
