World Bicycle Day

Every year on 3 June, the United Nations’ World Bicycle Day invites all to acknowledge “the uniqueness, longevity and versatility of the bicycle”. This form of travel is affordable, accessible, and sustainable. Plus, given that transportation accounts for almost a quarter of Europe’s greenhouse has emissions, bike use is crucial to achieving European and global climate goals.
