European Cycling Challenge 2014 – ECC2014
The City of Bologna, the SRM (Agency for mobility and local public transport) and the CIVITAS Secretariat would like to invite the CIVITAS Cities and their urban cyclists to the third edition of the friendly competition “European Cycling Challenge 2014 – ECC2014”.
The initiative, launched by the City of Bologna and SRM, will be held throughout the month of May 2014. In each city, urban cyclists will join their City Team, tracking their movements with a free smart phone app and contributing to the grand total of kilometers travelled in their city. The City which will cycle more kilometers will win the Challenge.
The initiative is a follow up of the CIVITAS PLUS MIMOSA project and it has been awarded with the CIVITAS Award 2013 for Public Participation.
Cities who are interested in the challenge are kindly invited to complete the attached form (ECC2014 Expression of Interest) and send it back to SRM Bologna, ecc [at] srmbologna [dot] it, by the 15th of December 2013.
