18th ECOMM 2014

The ECOMM 2014 will be in Florence, Italy, from 7-9 May.
The website is online and the call for papers is open.

The deadline for submitting abstracts is9 December 2013.

The Wikipedia article on Florence is here. The Italian language Wikipedia has an excellent section on the Urban Mobility of Florence, that includes a brand new tramway, a very large pedestrian area, a limited traffic zone and carsharing services. The construction of a futuristic underground High Speed Rail station with connecting tunnels is ongoing. Here is an article showing the very large challenges that have to be met.
